As this is my first attempt at a blog I am feeling my way and hopefully will not make too many mistakes.
I have been painting since the late1970s with a gap of a good few years until I picked up my brushes again in the 1990s, mostly in Pastel, oils, Acrylic and recently in watercolour.
I found water colour the most difficult to master of all the mediums as it so unforgiving of mistakes.

I attend a weekly group with like minded people (no tutors) everyone does their own thing and also help each other when asked.
I find this suits me very well as I do not like to be regimented.
